Brooke James is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. James has been practicing in Family medicine since 2010. She strives to provide quality heath care with compassion. She and her husband live in Madisonville, LA and have a son, Ryan. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family.

Peggy Gautreau: CNM

Originally from New Orleans. Peggy began her career in an Emergency Room at Charity Hospital for 10 years as an Emergency Room Nurse. After completing graduate school, she did a 10 year stint as a Nurse Midwife with North Oaks OBGYN. In October of 2013, Peggy wanted to extend help to more people in which the Total Family Medical Legacy began. Peggy sees females of all ages for a variety of Women’s Health and Gynecological care. She is a strong advocate for empowering her team, and she fiercely believes that the team plays a pivotal role in shaping modern health care.

Kimberly Martin, NP

Kimberly Martin came to us in her final year of graduate school to become a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. We were so captivated by Kimberly and her compassion for her patients, we just could not let her go!! This married mother of four after ten years of nursing decided it was time to return to school and follow her passion in Mental Health. Kimberly is empathetic, patient, and understanding towards all of her patients.

Cliff Stringer, FNP

Lloyd “Cliff” Stringer is board certifed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. In September 2019, he joined an outstanding team of health care providers and staff at Total Family Medical as one of their staff. He began his career in healthcare as a nurse in 2001, where the majority of his time was spent caring for the critically ill. His career focus has changed and is now the focus is on providing quality health care to the people of our city and community. He is married and has two children. They enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
